Nava Dance Theatre Awarded Arts Council Funding

Nava Dance Theatre is awarded California Arts Council: Local Impact Grant for "Drive East: Locally Sourced" a series which reflects the traditional art forms of the Indian community in the Bay Area and feature California-based artists. By occupying the art space in San Francisco, this programming gives voice to the historically marginalized communities of Indian Americans and validates the presence of the growing population of Indians/Indian Americans in the Bay Area.
